Charlie Harp has been designing and implementing software solutions in the healthcare industry for over two decades. He began his career developing hospital lab applications for SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories (now Quest Diagnostics), including instrument interfaces, reference lab interfaces, phlebotomy tracking applications, ADT interfaces and lab data management and reporting. He then worked for Covance Central Laboratories where he managed the strategic application development group, developing applications including: investigator reporting tools, protocol data management, specimen management and tracking, specialty lab interfaces and microbiological result interpretation. Most recently, Harp was at Hearst Business Media, where working for First DataBank and Zynx Health, he was instrumental in the design and development of several innovative products focused on the integration of terminology, reference content and clinical decision support at the point of care.
Joe Mize has worked developing and designing software solutions across a number of industry verticals, from healthcare claims process, image processing and finance to integrated healthcare content. In 2000, Joe joined First DataBank, where he was responsible for the development and evolution of the Drug information Framework, an API delivering integrated drug information and clinical decision support, for two years. He was then transferred to First DataBank's sister company, Zynx Health, where, as the director of engineering, he was responsible for the development and evolution of the reference web site and order set authoring portal as well as the internal content management applications.
John Wilkinson brings an uncommon depth of knowledge and experience gained from over twenty years of consistent success in healthcare sales, marketing and management. He gained a broad perspective on healthcare early in his career selling wound care products to hospitals for Merck, opening long term care markets for therapy bed company Kinetic Concepts and leading DME, Oxygen and IV therapy sales and operations teams for homecare provider Homedco/Apria. In 1994, after ten years of surpassing expectations in a variety of healthcare settings, John joined clinical content vendor Medi-Span. It was there he came to appreciate the complexities of healthcare IT and realized it takes a unique mix of technical knowledge and selling ability to succeed in this market niche. He developed & implemented a targeted sales training system along with several highly successful programs covering account management, national accounts, team sales and revenue retention. Building on a strong foundation of sales staff development, he helped launch a number of new products and surpassed revenue targets year after year. John's long record of achievement continued as he set performance standard at First DataBank, Thomson Healthcare and Zynx Health. Today, John's rich experience and broad perspective are applied through his leadership role and the consulting services of Clinical Architecture.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael studied software development and worked for a time in the technology industry. While primarily focusing on commercial real estate law, Michael has significant experience with general business matters, commercial litigation, intellectual property, trademarks, software licensing, corporate financing and lending. Michael is also a partner at Wallack Somers & Haas where he continues to practice.
Robert Vinti is a pharmacist by training with extensive experience directing product development in the acute care segment of healthcare. He spent the first 25 years of his career directing pharmacy activities for both small community hospitals and large university affiliated hospitals. For the last eleven years Bob directed the development of several medication management software including hospital pharmacy information systems and medication reconciliation products. Bob's role as the pharmacy clinical adviser at Clinical Architecture is to provide general clinical and work flow guidance relating to product under development at Clinical Architecture.
